De 570 pk sterke Italiaan vlamde allicht iets te optimistisch een bocht in (220 km/u), raakte daarbij het gras en belandde zo de prullenmand in. Voor zover we het hebben kunnen afleiden zijn beide chauffeurs er zonder kleerscheuren vanaf gekomen.
