De V8 Supercars reeks blijft stijgen in populariteit bij fans en constructeurs. Volvo maakte ook net bekend dat ze gaan deelnemen met de brute reeks in samenwerking met Garry Rogers Motorsport, een team dat er al sinds 1996 bij is.
